Safari ride was always thrilling and as soon as we entered the big van to take us around we were greeted by big monkeys trying to give a scare. It was a good start for a jolty ride trough the mud road into the forest, bumping and throwing people of their seats. I and my friend Bharath called ourselves as the shooter and spotter. He is supposed to spot for game and I will take a shot of it. But unfortunately one of my other friends, Vishnu spotted this huge tusker at Mudhumalai.
This one was huge and dominating of the herd that were standing scattered around and paying heed to our big van. I cautiously moved to the other side of the window and took this photo of the tusker staring at us.
It was a super shot of the tusker while I kept the setting of aperture f3.5 and a shutter speed of 1/250th of a sec.
